MALIBU, Calif. – Two people were injured and airlifted to UCLA Medical Center Tuesday after the passenger car they were driving in smashed into the side of the mountain on Canan Dune Road.
A man and a woman were in the vehicle, but police did not know who was driving the car. One of the two people injured was in critical condition, the other’s injuries were minor in comparison. The driver of apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed in the vicinity of Tunnel No. 1, police officials said. Debris from the crash was strewn all over the street, according to reports.
